1. Theme Upload and Installation<\/h2>\n

After purchasing our Jouy Theme you should be able to download it right away. The downloaded file is named JouyThemeFolder.zip. Make sure to unzip it before proceeding with the installation. It contains following files:<\/p>\n

jouy.zip<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

jouy-child.zip<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

JouyReadMeText.rtf<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Navigate to your WordPress Dashboard and click on Appearance > Themes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Now click on the Add New<\/strong> button on top of the page and then click Upload Theme<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Choose the jouy.zip<\/strong> file from the JouyThemeFolder. The zip file you need to upload is jouy.zip <\/strong>(zipped within the JouyThemeFolder.zip).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Important!<\/strong> Don’t upload the whole JouyThemeFolder.zip folder! If you get a ‘Theme is missing the style.css stylesheet’ error you have probably uploaded the wrong folder.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Click on Install Now but NOT on Activate.<\/strong>\u00a0 Once it is installed, important click the return to themes <\/strong>button.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You should be at Appearance > Themes <\/strong>again.\u00a0We are not done yet. Now you need to upload the jouy-child.zip.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Click again on the Add New<\/strong> Button on the top of the page and then click on Upload Theme<\/strong>. Choose the jouy-child.zip<\/strong> file.<\/p>\n

Click on Install Now <\/strong>and then on the Activate Button.<\/strong> Congrats!
