Navigate to Appearance > Menus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Click the \u201eCreate a New Menu\u201c<\/strong> button > Choose a menu name.<\/p>\n

Be sure to check the \u201ePrimary Navigation Menu\u201c box at the bottom of the page.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the left side you can choose between adding Pages, Posts, Custom Links or Categories to the menu.<\/p>\n

Pages\/Posts:<\/strong> You can select from previously created pages\/posts, e.g. About or Contact page.<\/p>\n

Custom Links:<\/strong> You can insert custom links from other sites. You can use this option to add a link to your homepage. Enter your homepage\u2019s URL into the box and give it a title, such as \u201eHome\u201c.<\/p>\n

Categories:<\/strong> Here you can create category pages that will automatically display all posts from the desired category.<\/p>\n

Sub Menu:<\/strong> You can create sub menu items by dragging the items below the other menu items. To create an empty parent element, select \u201eCustom Links\u201c and put a \u201e#\u201c into the URL box.<\/p>\n

Social Media Icons<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
The XO theme comes prepackaged with ten of the most relevant social media icons.<\/p>\n
Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Paris Theme Options<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
In the left menu select \u201eSocial Media Icons\u201c<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
Add your relevant social media Usernames in the input boxes. If you leave a box blank, the particular icon will not appear. Pre existing values in the boxes can easily be deleted. Just type in your relevant username and you\u2019re good to go. Don\u2019t forget to click on Publish!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Add your own Header<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
You can choose between your blog\u2019s title or adding a custom header image.<\/p>\n

Navigate to Settings > General<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
Set your blog\u2019s title as Site Title<\/strong>. Additionally you can add a tagline.<\/p>\n

Select Header Image<\/strong> on the left and click the \u201eAdd new\u201c<\/strong> button to upload a new header image.<\/p>\n
2.)\u00a0Welcome Section \u2013 XO LITE About Widget<\/h2>\n
The XO LITE Theme features a Welcome section right below the slider. It\u2019s a great way to show your readers who\u2019s behind the scenes of your blog.<\/p>\n
Go to Appearance > Widgets<\/strong>. You will see a widget area called Profile Area<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
From the available widets on the left, select XO \u2013 About Widget<\/strong> and drag it into the Profile Area.<\/p>\n
You just need to fill in the fields and your welcome widget is ready! If you should find pre existing stuff within the boxes, just delete them and fill in the fields with your own stuff you like to read. Don\u2019t forget to click on <\/span>Save!<\/strong><\/p>\n
3.) Important! Add featured Images to your Posts<\/h2>\n
