Subscribe Widget

For the newsletter widget of our Cosmo theme we use the Sign Up Form from Mail Chimp. Make sure you have the recommended Mail Chimp Easy Forms Plugin activated and ready for use. Before we start you need to make sure you’re API Key is activated within the plugin.

After you created your sign up form we need to set up the fields which your readers need to fill out like name and mail address. Just click on the left hand side on the form and choose what parameters you like to see on your form. Done!

Navigate to Appearance > Widgets and drag the Easy MailChimp Forms widget into your desired widget area. In the demo version it is placed on the sidebar. Fill out the required fields and give your Subscribe Widget a title. Don’t forget to click on save!
